The question of the ultimate browser on your Windows PC is the never-ending fight between some of the giants on the market. However, most of us go back to Chrome simply because it offers better integration with other Google services. However, is Mozilla Firefox a better choice? Let's check that out below!
Mozilla Firefox has been around for a long time but it often fell short when compared to Chrome's performance. However, the latest Mozilla Firefox updates have finally improved it enough to match Chrome's speed. Mozilla manages to do a good job of resource management, something that Chrome still isn't able to pull off. You won't have issues with having many tabs open. This provides for a great balance between performance and resource management that makes Firefox the best browser choice for Windows.
After opening Firefox, you'll be surprised to notice that now its new look resembles Chrome. That might be a good thing considering the fact that Firefox's old design looked a bit outdated for its time. They decided to combine the search bar and the address bar to further increase its resemblance to Chrome. However, you can use various skins and add-ons to customize Firefox's appearance and functionality. Syncing across devices works excellent. You can even continue a browsing session on a completely different device.
Firefox takes tracking protection seriously and it's active in Private Browsing mode (blocking all sorts of trackers and also protecting from malevolent scripts). Other useful features include Hello (built-in video chat option), the Reading mode that hides ads, and easy social media sharing. It's customizable, rational with resources, and with great performance. What more can you ask for?
